Well it is official. My junior college days are over, soon. I have been accepted into USC (University of South Carolina, I refuse to give USC to University of Southern California, when USC has been a university longer than California has been a state. I know, I am greedy that way) for the fall 2009 semester. I am still taking classes at the junior college right now, because I hate the summer and would rather spend it indoors than swimming.
No that’s not right.
I would rather spend my summer in the river, or a pool. I mean all of it, all 24/7 of it (I should have been born with gills), but alas, I have hopes of graduating college before my daughter (she’s almost 2), so I go to school all the time.
I am also slowly building my web creation business, slowly, but at this point growth is growth. I have 2 web-sites I am working on, as well as managing a couple of advertising campaigns, albeit they are adwords (I am a web-centric geek here, lets keep this in perspective) but I have them, and I must say either its easier than I thought (it’s not), or I am some sort of adword savant (more likely, though I am far from a guru).
I will put the websites up in my portfolio once they are finished, since ideally that’s when they will look the best.
I also have a new project with my brother I am working on as well. We call it ‘Two Hours to Suck’. We are doing reviews of various media (movies, TV, video games, possibly more) 2 hours at a time. (the idea stemmed from a comment I made during Wolverine last month). Basically if the first two hours are good, we’ll move on to the second two hours. I am building that website as well, but we don’t have a decent place to put it at the moment, but hopefully soon, If businees keeps picking up for me. Look for that soon!
